Hello all,
I would like to share with you some findings and insights from a recent research I did as part of my MBA studies graduation.
I was wondering if there is and what is the relation between Lean Cultural elements and employee satisfaction, Here is a short and brief summary.
I found that there is good and positive correlation between Lean Culture and Satisfaction meaning that as more as we will find Lean Elements in an organization there will be more satisfaction in this organization.
In addition Ive found low to medium and positive correlation between Lean Culture elements perception and Employees with subordinates which means that managers perceive and see more Lean Culture Elements in their organization than employees without subordinates.
Looking forward on the complex relationship between Satisfaction and Lean I have found that Herzbergs Two factor theory exists and Lean has a positive and medium-strong correlation (R-sq~50%) to Motivation means Lean Culture contributes to higher Motivation (See The Chart below).
Last but not least, Culture and Striving towards excellence requires combination of multi disciplines and aspects, Scientific like: KPI's, Goals, Process Engineering and additional engineering disciplines, and on the other hand aspects taken from the Sociological sciences which requires understanding of the human nature and Behavioral Sciences.
Like Albert Einstein said:"It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure.”
